Who says weddings have to be in-person?

Once in a while, right within middle of an ordinary life love give us a fairy tale.

We were both LGBT Filipino nurse couples who happened to be colleagues residing in UAE. We were seeking to marry to overcome distance as one of us is traveling to the USA for good thus, one of us is leaving UAE.

Same-sex marriage like ours is incredibly illegal in UAE and there is no such law supporting it. Therefore, we've got decided to use a visit visa to marry in Europe.

Due to Pandemic after marriage, we encountered such lot of issues with certifications as its taking time.  We've been to a turning point of remarrying that we thought our faith together has been tested and even though we have enough means to travel and financial resources our options are limited due to travel restrictions.

We did deep research and God has provided the key to our dilemma. Thanks to the Virtual wedding, our marriage has been conducted by our officiant.

Quick, easy, and no bureaucracy. A wedding can be a stressful and time-consuming event to organize. But not with them they take care of all the details, documents, and bureaucracy so it was less hassle.

Still in doubt!?

Here's our timeline:

November 20, 2021- We booked online for our chosen wedding date. Marriage license received

November 29, 2021- We have been officially married.

December 23, 2021- We got our Apostilled marriage certificate.

January 20, 2022- I have been successfully added to my wife's application for USA immigrant visa application as a dependent

February 22, 2022- Presented apostilled documents for our USA visa application.

February 24, 2022- we finally got our immigrant visa! And we are traveling this year anytime.
